Job summary

FUJIFILM Electronic Materials, U.S.A., Inc. in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to execute and improve key QMS processes, driving improvements in FEUS processes and product quality.

The role collaborates with Operations and Business teams to meet quality expectations. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in engineering with a focus on Quality Systems and Statistics and 1–3 years of QA experience, preferably in the semiconductor industry.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering or equivalent technical degree, with specialization in Quality Systems and Statistics.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in QA systems, (semiconductor industry preferred).
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively (verbal/written/presentations) at all levels.
• Self-motivated individual with a passion to learn new skills.
• Experience in problem solving techniques is a plus.
• Knowledge in the principles of statistics and statistical process control is a plus.
• Open to traveling. Visits to other manufacturing sites, supplier and customer sites (including occasional overseas travel)
• Proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Execute and improve key QMS processes to drive improvements in FEUS processes and product quality.
• Drive root cause analysis using 8D/MBPS methodologies and coordinate containment and long-term corrective actions.
• Support ISO-9001 Quality Management goals including Audits, Documentation Control, Non-Conforming Material, PCP/FMEA, and Calibration.
• Provide training to personnel to ensure awareness of quality expectations.
• Interact with customers to identify opportunities to improve quality and feedback with Operations.
• Support manufacturing groups to design, implement and document procedures for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection.
• Reports directly to the Quality Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
