Job summary

PlanIT Group is seeking a Quality Engineer to respond to quality concerns on the manufacturing floor, documenting defects and coordinating resolutions. The role requires evaluating product requirements, drawings and procedures, and collaborating with supplier quality to disposition nonconformances.

The ideal candidate will leverage Tableau dashboards to monitor production metrics, identify trends, and drive actionable improvements on-site with suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience using Tableau for quality tracking and analytics.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Familiarity with machining and manufacturing practices and IPC standards.

Responsibilities

• Respond to quality concerns on the manufacturing floor and document defects.
• Perform technical evaluations of requirements, specs, drawings and procedures.
• Collaborate with supplier quality to disposition nonconformances.
• Leverage Tableau dashboards to monitor production metrics and identify trends.
