Job summary

PlanIT Group, LLC is seeking a quality-focused engineer to respond to defects on the manufacturing floor and document issues precisely. You will perform technical evaluations of product specs and drawings, and work with supplier quality teams to disposition nonconformances on supplied parts.

You will leverage Tableau dashboards and predictive analytics to monitor production metrics, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable steps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Basic Qualifications

" Bachelor's degree from an accredited college, preferably in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering, or related discipline."

" Strong communication and collaboration skills."

Desired Skills

" Tableau and other data visualization platforms for quality tracking."

" Working knowledge of inspection techniques, ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and prints, familiarity with GD&T."

" Familiarity with machining and manufacturing practices."

" Experience with electrical assembly commodities such as CCAs, cabling assemblies, and box-level components, and industry standards such as IPC-A-610/J-STD-001, IPC-A-620 and other aerospace
