Base-2 Solutions, LLC. seeks a detail-oriented QA Engineer with strong UI testing expertise to ensure quality during modernization of a government information system. Expect functional and regression testing of Java web apps, UI validation, accessibility compliance, and cross-browser testing across enterprise environments.

You will develop test plans, validate Tomcat and Oracle 19c integrations, SAP BI interfaces, andAPI tests, while coordinating with security teams in a regulated setting.

The role involves developing comprehensive test plans and test cases for system upgrades including Apache Tomcat application servers, Oracle 19c database integrations, and SAP Business Intelligence reporting interfaces. Strong experience with UI automation frameworks, manual testing methodologies, and defect tracking systems is essential. The candidate will validate that all system components meet federal cybersecurity requirements and government accessibility standards (Section 508/WCAG) while ensuring a seamless user experience across the modernized platform. Experience testing enterprise applications in Windows Server environments, API testing for backend services (Apache Solr, RESTful services), and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab) for automated test execution is highly valued.
