Job summary

Zing Recruiting is seeking a Quality Engineer for a leading manufacturing company in the United States. You’ll drive structured problem-solving, champion continuous improvement, and support compliance across the plant.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Chemistry and at least two years in quality engineering within manufacturing. Strong communication and troubleshooting skills are essential, with experience in APQP, FMEA, and Control Plans preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead structured problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, waste, and productivity.
• Support APQP, FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, GR&R, and other quality processes.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing processes and lead corrective actions.
• Partner with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.
• Conduct internal audits and support quality system compliance.
• Oversee testing and measurement equipment, including calibration and proper use.
• Monitor quality and laboratory performance through KPIs and support plant improvement initiatives.

What You Bring

Preferred: Experience with rubber or plastics manufacturing, rubber compounding, laboratory testing, or working with international manufacturing teams.
