Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited in Columbus, IN is seeking an experienced embedded automotive software professional to lead ASPICE process establishment and governance. This role requires coordinating with hardware, software, and cross-functional teams across offshore/on-site sites to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in embedded automotive development, ASPICE assessor credentials, and strong skills in C/C++, MATLAB, Simulink, and Python.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience in Embedded Automotive Software development and validation.
• Certified Competent or Provisional ASPICE Assessor.
• Experience in ASPICE processes and driving process adoption within an organization.
• Familiar with Classic AUTOSAR terminology and MISRA tools/compliance.
• Experience in Agile/auto scrum environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with technical, business and executive teams.
• Coordinating with HW, integration, system and cross-teams (offshore/on-site).

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain ASPICE processes and process assets (templates, checklists, procedures).
• Drive process compliance and ensure teams adhere to standards.
• Lead cross-functional teams to define and maintain software processes and standards.
• Monitor process landscape and suggest improvements across platforms.
• Provide reporting to Management on assessment results and risks.
• Support ASPICE Level 2 planning and roadmap.
• Coordinate with development teams and stakeholders across locations.

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• At least 8 years of experience in Embedded Automotive Software development and validation
• Certified Competent or Provisional ASPICE Assessor
• Strong knowledge of other software process models (CMMI, ISO26262, ISO21434, TS16949).
• Proved knowledge in process modeling and process modeling tools (ex: Stages).
• Experience in establishing ASPICE processes at organization level
• Experience in driving the team to follow the process
• Thorough understanding of quality tools (Root Cause Analysis, 8D etc).
• Knowledge of programming languages C, C++, MATLAB, Simulink, Python
• Familiar with Classic AUTOSAR terminology, MISRA tools/compliance
• Worked within an Agile/auto scrum environment.
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with project stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills communicating with technical, business and executive teams.
• Capacity for influencing and convincing critical thinking
• Able to Provide training programs on new processes as needed.
• Working experience in AUTOSAR based software development and validation project
• Proficiency in coordinating with HW, integration. System and other cross teams both offshore / on-site.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $110,000 per year

Roles & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the development teams to define and maintain the processes as well as process assets (templates, checklists, procedures, etc).
• Responsible for maintaining the process assets up to date with the latest industry standards.
• Drive the process compliance and ensure development teams are adhering to internal standards.
• Lead cross-functional teams in contributing to the software development to define and maintain the Software processes and standards.
• Understand the process landscape across various platforms and suggest improvement recommendations.
• Monitor current processes and drive improvements/ corrections based on findings.
• Analyze and identify the process risks and define the process improvement needs.
• Provide constant reporting to Management on the results and risks associated with assessment findings.
• Support strategic planning and roadmap with Software development teams for ASPICE Level 2 compliance.
• Lead Process Institutionalization
• Establish and maintain strong rapport a nd trust with development teams and other organization stakeholder.
• Performing integrated ASPICE and functional safety assessments
• Support strategic planning and roadmap development for ASPICE Level 2
• Monitor current processes and drive improvements/ corrections based on findings

Generic Managerial Skills, If any

• Resource grooming, management, and monitoring
• Participate in RFQs, new business proposal, internal initiative on technology demonstration, customer visits
