Job summary

Southwest - Carlton Staffing is seeking a QA Documentation Specialist for a Northwest Houston client. This temp-to-hire opportunity pays $20.00/hour and runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM in the 77008 area.

You will prepare and review documentation packages, verify MTRs and CoCs, and ensure all records comply with ASTM, ASME, and internal procedures. Candidates should have experience in quality documentation and document control.

• Experience with quality documentation and document control is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy required.
• Ability to review and organize technical documentation with precision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review documentation packages to ensure compliance with standards.
• Verify accuracy of MTRs, CoCs, and other quality records.
• Submit and distribute documentation to customers via portals or email.
• Identify and flag discrepancies or missing information for correction.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of quality records and customer documentation.
• Operate scanning/document imaging equipment to digitize records.
• Organize, file, and maintain documents in the document control system.
• Ensure records are properly controlled and stored per QMS requirements.

** Description of Duties:**

• Prepare and review documentation packages to ensure compliance with ASTM, ASME, customer specifications, and internal procedures
• Verify accuracy and completeness of Material Test Reports (MTRs), Certificates of Conformance (CoCs), and supporting quality records
• Submit and distribute completed documentation packages to customers through designated portals or email
• Identify and flag discrepancies, missing information, or nonconforming documentation for correction
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of quality records and customer documentation
• Operate scanning and document imaging equipment to digitize and archive records
• Organize, file, and maintain documents within the document control system
• Ensure records are properly controlled, labeled, and stored in accordance with QMS requirements

** Requirements:**

• Previous experience with quality documentation, document control, QA, or a related role preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to review and organize technical documentation
• Strong computer and organizational skills
