Job summary

The candidate should have a nursing-related bachelor's degree and a preference for CPHQ certification, with prior QA experience in long-term care and strong communication and analytical skills.

• 2 years QA experience in long-term care preferred.
• CPHQ certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads, guides, and directs the quality assessment and improvement (QAPI) program.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and facility policies.
• Provides leadership to drive performance improvement and resident care quality.

Job Description Overview: Leads, guides, and directs the quality assessment assurance program, and performance improvement (QAPI) activities of the healthcare facility in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations, standards and established facility policies and procedures to provide appropriate care and services to residents.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or other health-related fields

Experience

• 2 years’ experience in Quality Assurance and long‑term care facility preferred

Certification/License

• CPHQ certification preferred.

Recommended Qualifications.

• Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written
• Able to demonstrate and provide leadership.
• Computer proficient.
• Self‑directed.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Knowledgeable of skilled nursing home regulations, procedures, laws, and guidelines pertaining to long‑term care.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Scheduled Hours

Monday-Friday 8-430 (may vary based on needs of facility)
