Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator to lead the site quality management system, develop procedures, and educate operational teams on QMS requirements. The role supports the Kenco Operating System and drives quality improvements across the site.

Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, internal audits, and root-cause analysis is essential. Travel up to 25% and collaboration with cross-functional teams are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years in a quality assurance role with ISO 9001 knowledge.
• Experience leading audits and root cause investigations.
• Familiarity with Kenco Operating System quality practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve site quality policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Administer internal audits and train auditors to ensure QMS compliance.
• Identify training needs and organize quality-related training.
• Investigate complaints and non-conformances; perform root-cause analysis.
• Collect quality data and analyze trends to drive improvements.

About the Position

The role of the Quality Assurance Coordinator is to assist in managing the site quality management system and ensure that processes and procedures are developed in line with applicable standards and customer requirements. The Quality Assurance Coordinator will serve as a site leader in developing documents and tools to guide and improve the quality management system and serve as an educator to the existing operational personnel on quality management system requirements. The role will also support and assess the implementation of the Kenco Operating System as it relates to quality assurance.

Functions

• Maintain, update, and add as necessary site policies, procedures, standard work instructions, and tools to improve the efficacy of the quality management system.
• Administer internal audit program to ensure compliance to the quality management system through training auditors, auditing processes and procedures, and measuring results.
• Identify training needs and organize training interventions to meet quality standards.
• Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues and perform root cause and corrective action investigations to improve the quality management system.
• Collect and compile statistical quality data and analyze to identify areas for improvement to the quality management system.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field required or equivalent years of experience required.
• Equivalent years of experience is defined as one year of professional experience for each year of college requested.
• 2-4 years’ experience in a quality assurance role.
• Knowledge and experience with ISO 9001:2015.
• Lead Auditor Certification preferred.
