Job summary

EmmUcare Home Health, a growing home care agency, seeks a dependable Compliance Officer to review and manage employee and client documentation, ensuring accuracy and audit readiness. You will track licenses, trainings, and expirations, and support internal and external audits.

Candidates should have experience in compliance/healthcare, strong attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills. This role emphasizes confidentiality and regulatory adherence within a collaborative team

Qualifications

• Previous experience in compliance, healthcare, home care, HR, or office admin is preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments, priorities, and deadlines.
• Proficiency with Excel, Google Sheets, and electronic filing systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review employee and client files for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
• Identify missing, incomplete, inconsistent, or expired documentation.
• Track caregiver certifications, licenses, screenings, training requirements, and expiration dates.
• Contact employees regarding outstanding or expiring documentation.
• Follow up consistently until required documents are received.
• Review onboarding documents, background screenings, credentials, and employment requirements.
• Maintain compliance spreadsheets, tracking systems, reports, and electronic records.
• Enter and update compliance information in company systems.
• Assist with internal audits and preparation for external audits.
• Communicate compliance concerns and documentation issues to the appropriate team members.
• Help ensure employee and client records remain organized and audit-ready.
• Protect confidential employee and client information.
• Follow established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
