Job summary

Karman Space & Defense is seeking a Quality Assurance Clerk (QAC) to support the Quality Manager by maintaining quality and manufacturing records, reviewing records for completeness, and correcting discrepancies in collaboration with Quality Engineering and Quality Assurance. The QAC will organize records for customer review and collect data from the QMS, reporting to the Director of Quality.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma.
• Preferred experience: 2+ years in quality assurance or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with office administration or bookkeeping is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides clerical support to Quality Assurance in support of manufacturing.
• Organizes, scans, and stores manufacturing and quality records.
• Maintains records within ERP system.
• Verifies completeness of records and works with Quality Engineering to correct discrepancies.
• Works with vendors to correct discrepant CofC’s, inspection reports, etc.
• Organizes build documentation into Technical Data Packages for manufactured products.
• Collects vendor performance data (on-time delivery, quality, etc.) and submits data to customers.

What You Will Do

• Provides clerical support to Quality Assurance (QA) in support of Systima manufacturing
• Organizes, scans, and stores manufacturing and quality records
• Maintains records within ERP system
• Verifies completeness of records, works with Quality Engineering to correct discrepancies
• Works with vendors to correct discrepant CofC’s, inspection reports, etc.
• Organizes build documentation into Technical Data Packages (TDP’s) for Systima manufactured products
• Collects vendor performance data (on-time delivery, quality, etc.)
• Submits data to Systima customers

What We Are Looking For

• Required Education:
• High School diploma
• Preferred Experience: >2 years in any of the following:
• Quality Assurance or other relevant experience in a manufacturing setting
• Office administration and bookkeeping
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
