Summary

Assembly Technicians are in a hands‑on work environment performing a variety of tasks to support the engineering, manufacturing and production teams. Daily responsibilities may include production assembly, engineering assembly, receiving support, packaging and shipping.

What You Will Do

• Perform mechanical assembly according to verbal and written instructions including fastening, bonding, and riveting
• Support engineering testing and manufacturing efforts
• Read and understand blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
• Use chemicals, adhesives, and solvents as required
• Work with the ERP (Epicor) system to track hardware, and ensure jobs are completed on time
• Assist with test setup and execution when needed
• Assist with packaging and shipping of hardware and equipment
• Observe safety and security procedures, report potentially unsafe conditions

What We Are Looking For

• Required Education: High School diploma
• Required Experience: Experience with basic hand and power tools, strong mechanical aptitude
• Possesses a strong desire to work in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment
• Typically possesses: 2‑5 years’ experience in aerospace, defense experience, or manufacturing environments
• Demonstrates an exceptional work ethic, attitude, and willingness to learn
• Physical requirements: moderate physical and repetitious work, standing for extended periods, use of stairs, and occasional heavy lifting
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
