Job summary

Apexon is seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join our global team. You will write automated test cases, perform manual testing, and validate functional behavior while benchmarking performance and load to ensure system resilience.

Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, 7+ years in test automation and manual testing, and comfort in agile environments. Experience with JBehave, Serenity, Zephyr, and various databases is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in test automation and manual testing.
• Expertise in load testing & benchmarking performance matrix.
• Experience in API testing.
• Working knowledge with Java or Python.

Job description

As part of our global team, your role includes understanding the technical and functional landscape, leverage industry wide & home grown testing tools/frameworks, write automated test cases & perform manual testing to validate functional behavior, performance benchmarking and load testing. You are expected to contribute to the vision and roadmap, and a world-class engineering culture, while integrating business value and client experience within the team. We expect a successful candidate to have excellent communication skills, strong analytical skills, comfortable in a fast paced, ambiguous and often multi-directional work environments and willingness to go beyond to make a difference.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in test automation and manual testing
• Expertise in load testing & benchmarking performance matrix
• Experience in API testing
• Working knowledge with any object oriented programming language such as Java or Python
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Comfort with Agile operating models
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Energetic, self-directed, and self-motivated

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with JBehave, Serenity, Zephyr
• Experience with microservice architecture
• Experience with Postgres, Snowflake, Oracle, Sybase
• Experience with AWS
• Experience in Financial Services or Fintech e.g. experience with Payments domain a big plus
