Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector in San Leandro, CA. You will perform routine QC inspections on components, sub-assemblies, or finished products following SOPs and visual aids.

You will use calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify tolerances, meticulously document results including NCRs, and monitor production to ensure methods are followed. The role requires flexibility for night shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with basic mechanical understanding.
• Experience performing QC inspections and documenting non-conformances (NCRs).
• Proficiency using calipers, micrometers, and gauges for precision measurement.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform routine quality control (qc) inspections on components, sub-assemblies, or finished products based on detailed standard operating procedures (sops) and visual aids.
• Accurately use precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify that parts meet strict dimensional tolerances and specifications.
• Meticulously document all inspection results, including passing metrics and non-conformance reports (ncrs), ensuring audit readiness.
• Monitor production processes to ensure operators are strictly following established methods and protocols.
• Quickly integrate into different quality systems and client environments for various short-term mandates.
