Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in Columbia, MO is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to review client laboratory reports, ensure accuracy and traceability, and support quality systems. The role emphasizes collaboration with scientific staff to resolve comments and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.

You will participate in CAPA activities, change controls, and trainings while ensuring adherence to SOPs and project plans, contributing to safe and compliant laboratory operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or coursework is required.
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Meets quality and productivity metrics and collaborates with staff to ensure accuracy and completeness of reports.
  • Reviews client laboratory reports and related records for accuracy and traceability; addresses deficiencies for clarification and compliance.
  • Assists with implementation and monitoring of quality systems and procedures (e.g., CAPA, change controls, trainings).
  • Reviews protocols, procedures, data, reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and SOPs.
  • Keeps supervisor informed of significant issues identified during QA activities.
  • Communicates with scientific staff to resolve comments and complete tasks within production quotas.

Job Description
  • Meets all quality and productivity metrics and demonstrates strong teamwork and collaboration
  • Reviews and approves/rejects completed client laboratory reports and like records for accuracy, traceability, and completeness. Evaluates addressed deficiencies for clarification and for potential impact on compliance status. Works with staff to correct any noted deficiencies/inconsistencies.
  • Assist with implementation and monitoring of quality systems and procedures (e.g. CAPA, change controls, trainings, etc.)
  • Reviews protocols, procedures, data, reports, and other documents to ensure accordance with specified regulatory requirements, protocol, and/or project plan, methods, and SOPs.
  • Keeps supervisor informed of significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities.
  • Learn new tasks and remember the processes associated with this role.
  • Ability to communicate with Scientific staff for resolving comments
  • Ability to complete tasks in situations that have a speed or productivity quota.
  • Communicates effectively with client staff members
  • Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree is required. A degree in a relevant field such as chemistry, biochemistry, biology, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical science, or other directly related field or degree with comparable coursework is preferred.
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
Additional Information

Position is full-time position, Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Columbia, MO are encouraged to apply.
