Job summary

Donate Blood in Fresno, CA seeks a dedicated QA support clerk to assist the Quality Assurance Department in maintaining policies and meeting federal and state timelines. You will work independently, communicate effectively, and manage department documents and records.

Responsibilities include organizing and reconciling files, supporting FDA reporting, maintaining licenses, and providing general office support while upholding our values and standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years working in healthcare or blood banking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize, reconcile, review and maintain department documents and records.
• Maintain off-site storage records and coordinate retrieval of department boxes.
• Assist with gathering information for PDI reports and QIRs.
• Prepare timely reporting of Blood Product Deviations to FDA and related notifications.
• Review Laboratory Look Back notifications as QA reviewer.
• Maintain licenses for the blood center and renew on time.
• Review manufacturing data for internal procedures and provide audit reports.
• Provide routine office support (copying, filing, correspondence).
• Prepare letters for Component Quarterly Reports and mail to area hospitals.
• Update QA calendar and maintain department standards.
• Serve as back-up QA Specialist as needed.
• Foster alignment with company values and maintain positive workplace culture.
• Maintain punctual attendance per policy; observe California meal/rest periods.
