Job summary

Western Smokehouse Partners in Missouri seeks a Quality Assurance Assistant to support the QA team with audits, quality checks, and documentation for Ready-To-Eat products. You will help implement QA plans, track corrective actions, and ensure compliance with GMPs, FDA regulations, and internal policies across production areas.

This role emphasizes data collection, analysis, and collaboration with operations to uphold product excellence and food safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• Experience in food safety or Ready-To-Eat (RTE) production preferred.
• HACCP training preferred; formal training required for internal audits.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist FSQA Manager with Pre-Operational checks and related procedures.
• Monitor production to verify compliance with quality and food safety standards.
• Support data collection, analysis and planning for quality improvements.
• Prepare action plans for quality and production improvements.
• Support implementation of production, quality and customer service standards.
• Identify, investigate and help resolve quality issues within production.
