Job summary

WESTERNS SMOKEHOUSE & MEAT MARKET LLC is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to maintain and verify quality procedures across the production process. You will keep precise records for traceability and ensure product quality under the direction of the Quality Assurance Manager.

Responsibilities include enforcing production policies, supporting pre-op checks, performing quality verifications, and leading QA documentation and audits to uphold food safety standards across the facility.

Qualifications

• HACCP training or certification.
• Experience with food safety and quality assurance systems.
• Familiarity with GMPs and FDA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Enforce production policies and procedures for each area of production.
• Assist QA Manager with pre-op checks and procedures.
• Oversee quality checks to ensure product excellence and traceability.
• Verify information affecting production: ingredients, water activity, pH, labels, and packaging data.
• Contribute to QA plans and corrective actions; support audits and corrective actions.
• Maintain quality documentation, records, and reports; monitor trends and recalls.
