Job summary

VRK IT Vision Inc. is seeking a Junior Quality Assurance Analyst/Tester to assist modernization efforts for the State Of TN - DHS. You will perform manual and automated testing within an Agile team, participate in UAT, API, and performance testing, and learn Tricentis Tosca to automate scenarios.

As part of the QA team, you will create and execute test cases, develop automation scripts, and collaborate with users and business areas to increase test coverage while reducing repetitive testing time.

Qualifications

• Experience with manual and automation testing in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with Jira, Zephyr for Jira, SQL Server, Postman, Selenium, and Tosca.
• Proficiency in UAT and test case creation/execution.
• Experience with API and performance testing.
• ADA/Section 508 accessibility testing knowledge.
• Experience with ServiceNow testing.

Quality Assurance Analyst/Tester, Jr.

Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM CST

Hours: 7.5 hours/day

Candidate Requirement: Local candidates only

This position will support testing of modernization initiatives by supporting and leading the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase. The position requires knowledge and experience in manual and automation testing as part of an Agile/Scrum project team.

The resource will support testing of modernized applications, API and performance testing, learning new application functionality, learning Tricentis TOSCA, and creating automation scripts for ServiceNow applications and the C-CARE modernization application.

The resource will also work with users and various business areas to create and execute manual test cases and will be responsible for creating and executing automation test scripts to increase test coverage, improve test reuse, reduce repetitive testing time, and support modernization efforts.
