Resource Management Concepts, Inc. seeks a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to support our Navy customer in Indian Head, Maryland. You will strengthen the Quality Management System (QMS), evaluate process effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement with the Quality Director and engineering teams.

The ideal candidate has hands-on QMS audits, strong analytical skills, and experience guiding teams through root cause analysis and CAPA processes, plus active DoD clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical field with at least seven years of relevant experience.
• Direct experience supporting a Quality Management System (QMS).
• Active DoD Secret security clearance at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Support the Quality Director with departmental QMS audits, reporting, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate to conduct branch audits, identify QMS gaps, and recommend improvements.
• Plan and execute process audits from planning to execution and reporting.
• Track corrective and preventive actions per NAVSEA standards.
• Publish monthly metrics on CAPA activities.
• Facilitate root cause analysis and guide corrective actions.
• Conduct follow-up audits to verify effectiveness of actions.
• Train personnel on documenting CAPA in the CAPA database.
• Provide training on root cause analysis methods and applicability.
• Contribute to the QMS Community of Practice sprinter team deliverables.
• Represent quality engineering on project engineering review panels.
• Enforce counterfeit material program requirements and support IG inspections.

Job description

RMC is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to support our Navy customer in Indian Head, Maryland. In this role, you will work closely with the Quality Director, departmental quality points of contact, and engineering teams to strengthen the Quality Management System (QMS), evaluate process effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on QMS experience, strong auditing and analytical skills, and the ability to guide teams through root cause analysis and corrective action processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Quality Director with departmental QMS audits, reporting, and continuous improvement activities.
• Collaborate with departmental quality points of contact and the Quality Director to conduct branch audits, identify QMS gaps, and recommend improvements.
• Plan and execute process audits covering activities from planning through execution and delivery. Prepare reports documenting findings, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
• Assign and track corrective and preventive actions in accordance with NAVSEA standards.
• Collect, analyze, and publish monthly metrics on corrective and preventive actions.
• Facilitate root cause analysis and guide teams in identifying issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Conduct follow-up audits to validate root cause findings, assess corrective action effectiveness, and determine whether processes are improving.
• Train personnel on documenting corrective and preventive actions in the Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) database.
• Provide training on root cause analysis methods and when to apply them.
• Execute assigned deliverables supporting the QMS Community of Practice sprinter team.
• Serve as a quality engineering representative on project engineering review panels.
• Enforce counterfeit material program requirements and support command compliance and readiness for Inspector General (IG) inspections.

• Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical field and at least seven years of relevant experience.
• Direct experience supporting a Quality Management System.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance at the time of hire. Selected applicants may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Preferred Qualifications

• Formal ISO 9001 training.

Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The current salary range for this position will be $95,000 to $135,000 (annually).
