The QA Analyst will work closely with functional consultants, developers, business stakeholders, finance users, and project leadership to support test planning, test execution, defect management, regression testing, and deployment readiness activities. This position plays a critical role throughout System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), agency certification, validation, deployment, and post-production stabilization efforts in a highly controlled federal program environment.

Responsibilities

  • Execute test scripts and document results across financial processes, workflows, calculations, reports, dashboards, and system interfaces
  • Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution and retesting
  • Coordinate with developers, functional analysts, and stakeholders to investigate issues and validate corrective actions
  • Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains stable following enhancements or defect remediation
  • Validate test data quality, completeness, and suitability for business scenarios and reporting requirements
  • Confirm end-to-end processing from source data through calculations, reconciliations, reporting outputs, and downstream system integrations
  • Maintain test evidence, execution logs, defect records, traceability documentation, and sign-off support materials
  • Support business user readiness activities and help track critical issues affecting deployment decisions

  • Creativity and adaptability in problem‑solving
  • Ability to work with clients to understand their needs
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional presence

  • Experience supporting agency certification, validation activities, and production readiness reviews
  • Familiarity with data validation, interface testing, reconciliation testing, and reporting certification processes
