Job summary

Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) is hiring a Quality Assurance Analyst 1 to support surveillance tracking and quality records across the Nuclear Security Enterprise. The role involves working with QERTS, LAPS, SFIDS, and cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate data entry and reporting.

Training will be provided for LANL surveillance systems and procedures. The position requires data entry precision, strong communication, and the ability to obtain a Q clearance and Sigma 15 authorization.

Qualifications

• Minimum Job Requirements include software applications and basic computing systems.
• Ability to accurately transcribe, enter, review, and maintain data with attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to identify discrepancies and support accurate records management.
• Excellent written and oral communication; ability to document information clearly for stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, manage tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Applicants must be able to obtain a Q clearance and Sigma 15 authorization.

Responsibilities

• Support surveillance tracking and reporting, including monthly records and status reports.
• Maintain quality records and surveillance data in QERTS and LAPS.
• Coordinate with engineers and partners to collect and transmit surveillance information by deadlines.
• Review entries for accuracy and consistency with requirements and procedures.
• Identify data quality issues and suggest improvements to the process.
