Job summary

Garmin is seeking a full-time Quality Analyst 1 in Tucson, AZ to support Garmin's Sporting Dog products. You will perform QA activities for simple to moderately complex products and software in a collaborative team environment.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree or 2+ years of related QA experience, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication to coordinate with developers and product owners.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree OR 2+ years relevant QA experience.
• GPA >= 3.0 as a general guideline.
• Experience with product/software QA processes and methodologies.
• Strong organizational/analytical skills with multitasking ability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Design test plans, scenarios, and scripts for simple to moderate complexity.
• Document defects and report to developers; assist in problem resolution.
• Analyze test results and beta feedback when applicable.
• Communicate project status to internal customers and product owners.
• Verify software modifications and assist with release deployments.
• Maintain test cases and contribute to process improvements.
• Mentor new QA associates and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
