Quality Assurance Analyst - Hybrid Testing & Automation

Position Summary

The QA Analyst will be a key contributor to the testing and validation of an enterprise software system having global reach with a robust customer service operation. This role is responsible for quality assurance across internal applications through the creation of test cases, testing, analyzing testing results, and assessing and reporting the level of quality. The testing efforts require versatility in the use of testing tools, and analytical focus on software operational functionality.

Work Schedule: This position currently follows a hybrid work model. Employees are required to work from the office at least four days per week (Monday - Thursday), with Friday available for remote work, offering a blend of in-person collaboration and flexibility.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)

• Develop, document, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software applications
• Conduct manual and automated testing across different stages of the software development lifecycle
• Document and evaluate test results, track and manage defects and troubleshoot issues.
• Define applicable testing procedures and expectations with business and development teams.
• Support holistic testing efforts for multiple projects and software releases.
• Plan for stress testing, performance testing, and/or non-functional testing, as requested.
• Ensure all work and tests performed are within standards and guidelines.
• Review and interpret business requirement documents and apply the functionality to testing models.
• Develop straight-line and exception processing test plans and test cases.
• Utilize automated testing tools for single-test case and for scripted iterative-test case execution.
• Create and manipulate database structures.
• Use structured software issue reporting tools.
• Articulate testing issues with concise descriptive explanations which enable others to reproduce a condition.

Minimum Qualifications (These are the requirements that all applicants MUST HAVE to be considered for this position)

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of experience in a software quality assurance position
• Strong interpersonal skills, detail oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• 3 years of experience with VSTS, TFS or Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with SQL queries
• Familiarity with testing methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall
• Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) piplines
• Extensive experience in writing Test Plans and Test Cases.
• Skilled in the use of Microsoft office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• 5 years of experience in a software quality assurance position.
• Experience with Agile testing.
• Skills with Basic SQL database query and Multi-lingual attributes.
• Professional experience in network marketing business.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience testing Salesforce CRM applications.
• Experience testing the integration of Salesforce, AX or other large platform CRM
• Good knowledge of writing and executing SOQL queries.
• Experience with functional and back-end testing of e-commerce and order management systems
• Experience with Mulesoft testing.
• Hands-on experience with web services testing tools such as Rest, SOAPUI.
• Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman & Anypoint Platform.
• Experience with mobile application testing (iOS/Android)
