Job summary

CSG Actuarial is seeking a Software Test Engineer to join our collaborative and growing team. We release new products weekly to thousands of customers and value teamwork over siloed work.

You will work with Product, Development, and Sales to design and run test plans, build nightly E2E suites, and contribute to integration and system testing. This is a fast-paced environment that rewards high performance and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or MIS or 3+ years in software engineering/QA.
• Experience with test data management.
• Proficient with Front End & RESTful API Testing.
• Experience building and executing test plans.
• Proven work experience as a Software Test Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product & Development teams to understand software specifications and controls.
• Develop documented functional and non-functional test parameters.
• Design, build and execute software evaluation test solutions.
• Develop and maintain nightly end-to-end (E2E) test suites.
• Develop and maintain Integration & system tests.
• Provide test results to the Product & Development teams.

Job Description:

CSG Actuarial is looking for a Software Test Engineer to join our collaborative and growing team. The Engineering Team has a role in building the technology to support our ever-growing client base and as a Software Engineer at CSG Actuarial you will have the opportunity to be a part of the success of the organization. Our Engineering Team produces high impact products and services while working collaboratively with the Product Team, designers, and Sales Team.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Product & Development teams to understand software specifications and controls
• Developing documented functional and non-functional test parameters
• Design, build and execute software evaluation test solutions
• Develop and maintain nightly E2E test suites
• Develop and maintain Integration & system tests
• Provide test results to the Product & Development teams

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors of Computer Science MIS or at least 3 years of experience in software engineering or quality assurance.
• Experience with test data management
• Proficient with Front End & RESTful API Testing
• Experience building and executing test plans
• Proven work experience as a Software Test Engineer
• Proficient with software test programs and tools

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3 or more years of QA Automation or development experience
• Proficiency with Google Cloud, Template Engines, MVC, AJAX
• Experience with Playwright automation
• Experience with Performance testing
• Experience with Git source control
• Experience with Bootstrap, Django, and React
• Experience with AI tools such as Claude or Gemini
