This hands-on position focuses on functional and regression testing, API and UI behavior, with some automation where it adds value.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of software QA or related technical role.
• Experience testing web-based applications and APIs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• Willingness to attend in-person meetings at one of Aegis’ office locations.

Responsibilities

• Design, document, and execute test plans, cases, and scenarios from requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing on web apps and APIs.
• Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps.
• Collaborate with engineers to validate bug fixes and ensure resolution completeness.
• Participate in backlog refinement and sprint planning to ensure testability and clear requirements.
• Validate API behavior using Postman or equivalent tools.
• Assist in analyzing system behavior across environments to identify risks.
• Contribute to regression test coverage and introduce automation where valuable.
