Job summary

Machine Learning Technologies, LLC seeks an experienced QA professional to join our testing team in Columbia, SC. You will design test strategies, write test cases, and ensure quality across functional, regression, UI, and UAT testing for healthcare-focused solutions.

You will collaborate with product and development teams, execute manual and automated tests, maintain traceability, and contribute to QA governance, metrics, and deliverable reviews. Experience with Azure DevOps/Jira is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years translating requirements into test cases and scenarios.
• 5+ years building and executing test cases in test management systems.
• 3+ years healthcare operations knowledge (Medicaid experience preferred).
• 3+ years hands-on experience with formal test design tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, system, regression, and UAT testing to identify and resolve application issues.
• Develop detailed test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and testing processes based on business and technical requirements.
• Maintain full SDLC traceability from requirements through test cases and execution.
• Execute manual and automated testing, including negative and usability testing.
• Design and support UI testing and regression testing activities.
• Participate in defect triage, retesting, and issue resolution with development teams.
• Create and maintain QA documentation, metrics, and status reports.
• Ensure compliance with established QA governance standards, policies, and best practices.
• Conduct reviews, walkthroughs, and inspections of deliverables.
• Communicate test progress, risks, issues, and gaps clearly to technical and business stakeholders.

Job description

• Develop detailed test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and testing processes based on business and technical requirements.
• Maintain full SDLC traceability from requirements through test cases and execution.
• Execute manual and automated testing, including negative and usability testing.
• Design and support UI testing and regression testing activities.
• Participate in defect triage, retesting, and issue resolution with development teams.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years translating business requirements or policy documentation into test cases and scenarios
• 5+ years of experience building and executing test cases within test management systems
• 3+ years deep knowledge of healthcare operations (Medicaid experience strongly preferred), business processes
• 3+ years direct hands-on experience with formal test design tools

Preferred Skills:

• 5+ years large enterprise or e-business systems experience.
• 3+ years proficient in use of manual or automated testing tools such as Azure DevOps or Atlassian JIRA and Confluence
• 3+ years prior experience working in a standard SDLC (waterfall methodology) & in an AGILE delivery
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance can substitute for formal education.
