Job summary

Fusion Advanced Technology, LLC seeks a senior QA professional to design and implement risk-based QA for large-scale enterprise data systems, health interfaces, and case management platforms. You will lead multi-tier functional, integration, and performance tests and drive quality metrics.

Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to define UAT criteria, build realistic test scenarios, and ensure compliance with state security standards and federal funding requirements throughout the product

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• At least eight years of information systems quality assurance experience.
• At least five years of experience with statistical methods and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement risk-based QA strategies, test plans, and test suites for large-scale enterprise data systems.

• Establish defect tracking, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate with engineering for rapid resolution.

• Define, track, and report quality metrics to leadership, driving continuous optimization of development and release processes.
• Verify system compliance with state security standards, federal funding requirements, and data governance/privacy regulations.

Job description

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive, risk-based QA strategies, test plans, and test suites tailored for large-scale enterprise data systems, health interfaces, and case management platforms.
• Lead and execute functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testing across multi-tiered application environments and data pipelines (e.g., EHR interfaces, IIS registries).
• Establish robust defect tracking mechanisms, perform deep-dive root cause analysis on systemic failures, and coordinate with engineering teams to ensure rapid, sustainable resolution.
• Partner with Business Analysts, state program stakeholders, and end users to define UAT criteria, build realistic test scenarios, and facilitate smooth acceptance testing cycles.
• Define, track, and report critical quality metrics (e.g., code coverage, defect density, pass/fail rates) to project leadership, driving continuous optimization of development and release processes.
• Verify system compliance with state security standards, federal funding requirements, and relevant data governance/privacy regulations throughout the product lifecycle.

Education: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline.

General Experience: The proposed candidate must have at least eight (8) years of information systems quality assurance experience.

Specialized Experience: The proposed candidate must have at least five (5) years of experience working with statistical methods and quality standards. This individual must have a working QA/process knowledge and possess superior written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Experience

• Direct experience leading quality assurance, test strategy, and defect management within a State Government framework or Major IT Development Project (MITDP).
• Proven track record of defining test plans and validating data integrity for complex health systems, immunization registries (IIS), and Electronic Health Record (EHR) data interfaces.
• Hands-on experience establishing end-to-end test scenarios, automated testing strategies, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for enterprise Case Management or CRM platforms in a healthcare or social services environment.
• Experience designing QA metrics, root-cause analysis frameworks, and compliance validation processes aligned with federal funding requirements and state data regulations.
