Job summary

Valence is seeking a Quality Assurance Administrator in Everett, WA (1st shift, 6am-2:30pm). Compensation ranges from $22.00 to $26.00 per hour (DOE).

This on-site role reports to the Quality Manager and focuses on QA systems, SOP development, internal audits, and process improvement within a chemical/quality environment. The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or GED, 0+ years in quality surface finishing, and solid skills in office software and SPC tools.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 0+ years in quality surface finishing or related field preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic SPC tools expected.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining quality systems and procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Support internal audits and the qualification of new processes.
  • Help develop and document SOPs, process trees, and MRP-related controls.
  • Track, analyze, and report quality data to support continual improvement.

Job Overview

Job Title: Quality Assurance Administrator

Reports to: Quality Manager

Location: Everett, WA

Compensation Range: $22.00 to $26.00 per hour (DOE)

Schedule: 1st Shift (6am-2:30pm)

Essential Functions
  • Thorough understanding of quality assurance/control & chemical processing philosophies, principles, systems, methods, tools, standards, organizational and team dynamics, customer satisfaction, training, interpersonal relationships, improvement systems, and professional ethics.
  • Have a thorough understanding of management systems, including the development, documentation, and implementation of these systems with respect to domestic standards or requirements.
  • Create, implement and maintain standard processing, equipment matrices and procedures to support compliance of flow-down through requirements planning, product realization planning and associated activities.
  • Create, implement and verify the accuracy of standard process trees within material requirements planning (MRP) systems and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure process tree consistency and accuracy for like processes/approvals at each plant during the initial deployment of the MRP system.
  • Perform internal audits and develop operational and quality procedures to support the qualification of new processes and approvals.
  • Develop and have a thorough understanding of the audit process including types of audits, planning, preparation, execution, reporting results, and follow-up.
  • Create and support quality programs, including tracking, analyzing, and reporting results, using problem‑solving methods to promote continual improvement.
  • Support product and process quality in accordance with established quality principles, planning processes, material control, acceptance sampling, and measurement systems.
  • Be able to support quality product applications in chemical processing, nondestructive testing, & surface enhancement processes and activities.
  • Support each of the quality functions with flexibility to step in as needed to ensure on‑time delivery.
  • Have a thorough understanding of and ability to implement problem‑solving and lean quality improvement tools and techniques.
  • Be able to acquire and analyze data using appropriate standard quantitative methods across a spectrum of business environments to facilitate and implement process analysis and improvements. Have a thorough understanding and be able to implement risk analysis philosophies/methodologies and their applications.
  • Have a thorough understanding and be able to implement readiness processes and requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.
