Plans and conducts activities concerned with the quality assurance of processes, materials and products. Plans and conducts analysis, inspection, design, and/or integration to assure the quality of products.
Complies and maintains control records and related files to release blueprints, drawings and engineering documents to manufacturing and other operating departments by performing the following duties.
Ability to read and analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from group managers.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry concepts.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be computer literate have knowledge of Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two year college or technical school. Two (2) years experience and/or training in an aerospace manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds is required. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the expected pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00
