Job summary

Allfast Fastening Systems LLC in City of Industry, CA (on-site) is seeking a Quality Assurance Admin to plan and execute QA activities for processes, materials and products. You will maintain control records, release drawings, and coordinate with engineering on improvements.

The role involves audits, reporting, and supporting corrective actions in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment. The position is hourly, full-time, and requires ability to read technical docs, analyze data, and

Qualifications

  • Education includes an Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical docs, procedures and regulations.
  • Experience in an aerospace/mfg environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Plans and conducts quality assurance activities for processes, materials and products.
  • Maintains control records and releases documents to manufacturing and other departments.
  • Participates in audits, prepares reports, and follows up corrective actions.
  • Coordinates with engineering on improvement projects and quality training.
  • Supports customer surveys, nonconformities, and RMA root-cause investigations.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY: Plans and conducts activities concerned with the quality assurance ofprocesses, materials and products. Plansand conducts analysis, inspection, design, and/or integration to assure thequality of products.


Complies and maintains controlrecords and related files to release blueprints, drawings and engineeringdocuments to manufacturing and other operating departments by performing thefollowing duties.


Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Competencies:



  • Participates in customer, Nadcap and other thirdparty audits.

  • Conductsand maintains First Article Inspection Reports.

  • Conducts Internal and Supplieraudits to ensure compliance with all requirements, and coordinates auditschedule.

  • Monitors quality objectives andprepares reports for review as required.

  • Assigns and follows up correctiveactions. Monitors delinquent correctiveactions and coordinates follow-up with appropriate personnel as required.

  • Participates in customer complaintresolution, RMA root cause and corrective action.

  • Conducts quality training asrequired.

  • Completes Customer surveys andquestionnaires.

  • Maintains Quality Records: Customer Industry Agency

  • Coordinates supplier scorecarddistribution

  • Coordinates new supplier audit andrequired documentation.

  • Coordinates with manufacturing & engineering on improvement projects.

  • Performs quality engineering reviews of blueprint drawings and inspectiondocuments for compliance with stated requirements.


During EO process, confers with document originators or engineeringliaison personnel to resolve discrepancies and compiles required changes todocuments. Confers with research and other engineering personnel and preparesdocumentation modifications as required. Posts changes to computerized or manual control records, releasesdocuments, and notifies affected departments. Verifies that all manufacturing documentation reflects the latestspecification revisions and maintains related files. Generates and performs engineering changes (ECO's) to work orders.

OTHER COMPETENCIES:


LanguageSkills: Ability to read and analyze, and interpret general business periodicals,professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports, businesscorrespondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information andrespond to questions from group managers.


Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure,using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentand to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry concepts.


Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructionsfurnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables instandardized situations.


Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret blueprints.


Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully,an individual should be computer literate have knowledge of Spreadsheetsoftware and Word Processing software


Education and/or Experience: Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two year college ortechnical school. Two (2) years experienceand/or training in an aerospace manufacturing environment; or equivalentcombination of education and experience.


Physical Demands: While performing the duties ofthis job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required tosit. The employee is occasionallyrequired to stand; walk and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds isrequired. Specific vision abilitiesrequired by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception andability to adjust focus.


Work Environment: While performing the duties ofthis job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment isusually moderate.


Compensation

In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the expected pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00


Compensation can vary depending on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses.
