Job summary

Kelly Services is hiring a Quality Control Inspector for our premier distribution center in Savannah, GA. The role offers 1st shift (6am–2:30pm) at $20/hour and 2nd shift (6pm–2:30am) at $21/hour, with irregular hours including weekends and holidays possible.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs while standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Accurately checking and counting all products for inbound and outbound freight.
• Ensuring quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing of outbound orders are correct.
• Reporting shortages, damages, and mis-shipments to appropriate personnel.
• Checking contents of orders to ensure accuracy.
• Comparing quantities with customer orders to confirm shipments are complete and correct.

What's a typical day as a Quality Control Inspector? You'll be:

• Accurately checking and counting all products for both inbound and outbound freight
  
• Ensuring that the quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing of outbound orders are correct
  
• Reporting shortages, damages, and mis-shipments to the appropriate personnel
  
• Checking the contents of orders assembled by Order Selectors to ensure accuracy
  
• Comparing quantity, quality, labeling, and address with customer orders to confirm shipments are complete and correct

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role (required)
  
• Possess a high school diploma or GED (required)
  
• Are able to work irregular or extended hours, including nights, weekends, and potentially holidays as needed
  
• Can lift and/or pull up to 50 lbs. without restriction and stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours
  
• Have experience using MS Office and other computer applications
  
• Demonstrate excellent analytical, mathematical, communication, and customer service skills
  
• Are able to work independently and with minimal supervision
