Job summary

Actalent in Gurnee, IL is seeking a Quality Associate to perform frequent quality inspections on production lines, ensuring GMPs, SOPs, and safety policies are met. You will monitor processes, raw materials, and finished products; communicate issues; complete documentation; participate in audits; verify labels and samples; and work with production teams on basic quality issues.

A High School Diploma or GED is required, with an Associate degree preferred.

• Willingness to work a 3rd shift schedule.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Associate to perform frequent quality inspections on production lines, ensuring compliance with GMPs, SOPs, safety policies, and quality standards. This role involves working hands-on in a manufacturing environment, monitoring processes, raw materials, and finished products.

Responsibilities

• Conduct frequent quality inspections on production lines.
• Monitor processes, raw materials, and finished products.
• Identify and communicate quality issues, errors, and deviations.
• Ensure compliance with GMPs, SOPs, safety policies, and quality standards.
• Complete quality documentation accurately and on time.
• Verify label accuracy, product codes, and product samples.
• Participate in quality line audits.
• Perform ATP swabbing to verify sanitation requirements.
• Assist with the sample retain program.
• Calibrate quality monitoring equipment as needed.
• Ensure samples are delivered to the laboratory according to established sampling plans.
• Work directly with production employees and team leaders to resolve basic quality issues.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in manufacturing, warehouse operations, quality, or regulated production environments.
• GMP/regulated manufacturing experience is a strong plus.
• Comfortable with the 3rd shift schedule.
• High School Diploma/GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience, preferably in a warehouse, manufacturing, quality, safety, or regulated production environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Gurnee, IL.

Pay & Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38000.00 - $40000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
