Energizer Holdings, Inc. in Vandalia, OH is seeking a Quality Assistant to support product quality through sampling, testing, and inspection of materials and finished goods.

This role partners with cross-functional teams to uphold manufacturing standards and compliance with the Quality Management System. You will perform tests, monitor processes, and assist investigations into quality issues while maintaining documentation and procedural adherence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel and word processing.
• Ability to read and interpret product specifications and testing procedures.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Capable of multitasking and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsabilités

• Monitor, sample, and test products from packaging lines to verify compliance with specifications.
• Perform physical and chemical property tests on formulation samples to confirm they meet defined specs.
• Alert management to quality issues, coordinate line shutdowns, and quarantine affected product.
• Support root cause investigations and assist in preventive actions.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, R&D, and Packaging to resolve quality concerns.
• Follow the Quality Management System procedures and forms.
• Ensure inspections comply with the QMS and participate in special projects.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned to support departmental goals.
