Job summary

Energizer Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assistant for the 2nd shift (3PM–11PM) to support sampling, testing and inspection of raw materials, packaging and finished goods within our manufacturing operations in Ohio.

You will help ensure product quality and compliance by following the Quality Management System and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 1–2 years in a manufacturing setting, basic computer skills (Excel and word processing),

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1–2 years of relevant manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Excel and word processing.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read and interpret product specifications and testing procedures.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Capable of multitasking and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, sample, and test products from packaging lines to verify compliance with product specifications.
• Perform physical and chemical property tests on formulation samples to confirm they meet defined specifications.
• Alert management to quality issues, coordinate line shutdowns as necessary, and quarantine affected product for further evaluation.
• Support root cause investigations and assist in developing preventive measures.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, R&D, and Packaging to resolve quality-related concerns.
• Support the company’s Quality Management System by following all related procedures, work instructions and forms.
• Ensure all inspections and processes comply with the Quality Management System.
• Carry out additional duties, special projects, and tasks to support departmental objectives.
