Job summary

Indotronix UK seeks a Quality Assessor for a 12+ month contract in Monterey, TN. The role is field-based with travel to Cookville/Clarkrange and splits time between office and field sites.

You will drive regulatory compliance for large-scale pipeline projects, lead investigations, and develop SOPs, with strong emphasis on cross-functional collaboration and data-driven quality management. The position requires a minimum of five years in pipeline/construction, including three years in the field,

Qualifications

• The position requires a minimum of five years prior experience working in the pipeline or facility construction, and a thorough knowledge of applicable codes and standards to pipeline construction.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess quality processes and procedures across construction regions
• Conduct process assessments for projects and support contract exhibit reviews during RFP and IFC phases
• Drive specification revisions for compliance with DOT 192/195 regulations and company standards
• Analyze quality data from multiple sources (audit logs, nonconformance reports, PHMSA audits)
• Lead investigations, elevate technical issues, and track operator qualification notifications
• Update and maintain the Construction SharePoint site with critical quality documentation
• Facilitate and deliver training for new Quality team members and ensure onboarding compliance
• Lead construction quality meetings and present project quality information to diverse audiences
• Develop, revise, and maintain SOPs, guidelines, handbooks, and presentations
• Represent the Quality Management team at industry conferences and report on trends
• Support the review of supply chain vendor data documentation and participate in contract approvals
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Regulatory, Pipeline Integrity, Design, and Supply Chain teams
• Oversee contract personnel and participate in process improvement initiatives

We will start out at 5 days then probably will go to 6 once we ramp up and possibly some 7 day weeks in there.

Required Skills and Experience

• The position requires a minimum of five years prior experience working in the pipeline or facility construction industry, and a thorough knowledge of applicable codes and standards to pipeline construction.
• Included in the five years prior experience, a minimum of three years of field construction experience is required.
• The position requires a fundamental understanding of quality management principles as well as project management principles
• Minimum 3 years of experience in pipeline or facility construction, including at least 1 year of direct field construction experience
• Strong knowledge of pipeline construction codes and standards (API 1104, Pipeline Safety Regulations 192/195)
• Proven understanding of quality management and project management principles
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat
• Experience developing and maintaining process documentation, SOPs, and training materials
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills
• Ability to travel frequently and work in both office and remote field environments

Preferred Skills

• NACE Level 1 or higher certification
• AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
• API 1169 certification
• QMS training, root cause analysis training
• Experience with PHMSA field document audits
