Job summary

DrinkPAK, a leading beverage manufacturer in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking an Apprentice, Quality (5am-5pm) to support batch, lab, and packaged quality processes. The role focuses on testing, data documentation, and adherence to GMP/SQF standards within a structured, competency-based apprenticeship.

You’ll learn to interpret data, identify risks, and lead quality-critical tasks across departments with monthly progress reviews and a strong focus on safety and product integrity.

Qualifications

• Coursework in Food Science, Biology, or Chemistry.
• Experience in beverage manufacturing or quality control.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Strong PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control tasks in batching, lab and packaged quality.
• Perform sampling and testing of bulk ingredients.
• Verify lot numbers and items on batch kits for accuracy.
• Accurately document quality data in a timely manner.
• Calibrate lab equipment such as pH meters, titrators, DMAs, and refractometers.
• Collect and analyze in-process samples to verify parameters meet specs.
• Analyze data to identify trends or risks to product integrity or safety.
• Support sanitation verification and pasteurization validation.
• Perform packaging quality checks.
• Collaborate across Production, Batching and other departments.
• Adhere to escalation procedures and drive quality improvements.
