Job summary

Teradyne in North Reading, MA is seeking a Software Engineer for Compute Test. You will lead customer interactions in the local region, collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements, and contribute to high-throughput, robust components.

You will code in C#, C++, or Java, perform thorough testing and debugging, and participate in extensive peer reviews to ensure quality. Familiarity with IDEs, data structures, and electronics knowledge is a plus; co-op or internship

Qualifications

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work both independently and in teams.
Familiar with integrated development environments and debugging tools.
Solid grasp of data structures and algorithms.
Proficiency in C#, C++, Java (or equivalent OO languages).
Word, Excel, and PowerPoint proficiency.
Knowledge of analog electronics and/or digital electronics is a plus.
Co-op or internship experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead customer interaction for the Compute Software Division in the local region.
Maintain a strong working relationship with customers in the region.
Work with cross-functional teams to understand the requirements of the software.
Document the interface requirements for user review and end-user documentation.
Design the components with throughput and robustness as underlying requirements.
Code the components and algorithms with precision and attention to detail.
Thorough testing and debug to reduce escaped defects.
Extensive peer reviews of all aspects of the product to ensure quality.
