As a Manufacturing Quality and Reliability Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring high-volume manufacturing ramps meet Intel's rigorous quality and reliability standards. On a day-to-day basis, you will evaluate materials, processes, and techniques used in production, conduct quality audits, and develop systems for early detection and containment of potential issues. Your work will directly enhance Intel's ability to deliver high-performing products while fostering a culture of continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

• Drive manufacturing ramp qualifications to ensure processes and products meet quality and reliability standards.
• Specify inspection and testing mechanisms to monitor product and production equipment compliance.
• Conduct in-depth quality assessments and audits to identify improvement opportunities.
• Lead initiatives to optimize cost, ramp, and production volume efforts while maintaining quality.
• Collaborate with product engineering forums to recommend design or process improvements for enhanced reliability.
• Develop proactive systems and capabilities for early detection and containment of discrepancies.
• Manage material dispositions and oversee risk assessments for discrepant products or processes.
• Analyze reliability monitor data, leveraging statistical and machine learning techniques to identify insights that improve product quality.
• Respond to customer concerns related to manufacturing and provide engineering solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Material Engineering, other engineering, Physics or STEM related fields with 3+ years of experience;
• Or Masters with 1+ years of experience in same fields;
• Or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Material Engineering, other engineering, Physics or STEM related fields with related academic or work experience.

At least 3 skills of the skills below:

• Complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS), device physics, and semiconductor processing principles is critical.
• Device/semiconductor physics and electrical characterization techniques
• Data extraction and analysis skills
• Design of Experiments (DOE) principles and structured problem solving

Preferred Qualifications

• Skilled in engineering analysis tools and data-driven decision-making for quality improvements.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments, particularly with advanced silicon technologies.
• Knowledge of industry standards related to manufacturing reliability and quality assurance.
• Microprocessor architecture.
• Data extraction and analysis skills (JMP, Crystal Ball, ILM, REL PCS, SQL, JSL Scripting).
• Hands-on IC fabrication

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $120,860.00-170,630.00 USD The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
