Job summary

Voya Financial, Inc. is hiring a Leave & Disability Quality Analyst to audit leave, short-term disability, accommodation, and related claim files. You will review documentation, assist with escalated reviews, and partner with QA teams to identify trends and risks.

You will collaborate with Ops readiness, training, and leadership to improve processes and outcomes, manage quality-related work, and support service delivery objectives in a hybrid, Minnesota-based role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of disability and absence claims management, quality assurance, compliance.
• Strong knowledge of leave and disability products and general claim adjudication processes.
• Experience interpreting complex regulations and employer-specific plans.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Leave & Disability Quality Analyst

The Contributions You’ll Make:

• Conduct comprehensive audits of leave, short-term disability, accommodation, and related claim files.
• Assist with escalated claim reviews and special projects.

Minimum Knowledge & Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED 2+ years of experience in disability and absence claims management, quality assurance, compliance.
• Strong knowledge of leave and disability products and general claim adjudication processes.
• Experience interpreting and applying complex regulations and employer-specific plans.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Knowledge & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree Experience conducting audits or quality reviews.
• Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, STD, PFML, and state leave regulations.
• Experience with FINEOS claim system or similar claim management platforms.

Compensation Pay Disclosure:

Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities. The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. $56,220 - $70,280 USD
