  • Experience in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform microbiological analyses of raw materials and finished products using approved procedures.
  • Support daily workflow and testing activities in the microbiology lab.
  • Verify equipment performance and perform routine maintenance as assigned.
  • Prepare reagents, media, and lab supplies to support testing operations.
  • Ensure proper labeling, documentation, and storage of retained samples.
  • Use aseptic techniques and maintain best lab practices.
  • Enter and manage data using laboratory systems and Excel.
  • Maintain lab housekeeping and assist with sanitation schedules.
  • Support safety, food safety, and quality initiatives and continuous improvement.

Where You'll Make a Difference
  • Perform microbiological analyses of raw materials and finished products following approved testing procedures.
  • Support the daily workflow and testing activities within the microbiology laboratory.
  • Verify laboratory equipment performance and perform minor maintenance as assigned.
  • Prepare reagents, media, and laboratory supplies to support testing operations.
  • Ensure retained samples are properly identified, documented, and stored.
  • Utilize aseptic techniques and maintain laboratory best practices.
  • Enter, retrieve, and maintain testing data using laboratory systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Maintain laboratory housekeeping standards and support sanitation schedule completion.
  • Promote safety, food safety, and quality compliance while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
What Makes You the Right Fit
  • Associate degree or higher in a science-related field, or 3+ years of experience working as a laboratory analyst or laboratory technician.
  • Experience with LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems) or equivalent data management systems.
  • Experience working in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to follow written procedures and maintain accurate laboratory documentation.
  • Willingness to wear required PPE, including steel-toe shoes, hard hat, hearing protection, and safety eyewear.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and perform physical activities such as standing, walking, bending, reaching, and kneeling.
  • Ability to climb stairs and work in industrial production environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and food safety standards.
