Job summary

Arhaus is seeking a Quality Analyst to support routine inspections, packaging quality, and data-driven problem solving at our Corporate Office in Boston Heights, OH. This onsite role focuses on preparing metrics, driving improvements with vendors, and refining processes to meet customer requirements.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in quality/packaging, experience with QMS systems, strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, and a commitment to accuracy, ethics, and teamwork across departments

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of quality/packaging/warehouse experience.
• Experience with QMS systems, deviation investigations, OOS, CAPAs and Change Controls.
• Experience with domestic and international factories a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly reporting to provide insight into quality and packaging metrics for the department and vendors.
• Create and maintain department analysis and reporting as needed.
• Drive vendor improvements through data, accountability, and leadership.
• Maintain, refine, and/or improve processes within the area to meet customer requirements which include deadlines and quality/package standards.
• Work with Stores, Concierge, PD, Buying, and Distribution teams on issues and determine next steps to prevent recurrence.
• Issue vendor chargebacks as needed and determine next steps for current inventory and future production.
• Communicate with internal and external teams to ensure timely problem resolution and go-forward action plan.
• Ensure all product is received based on Arhaus SOPs and address discrepancies.

The Quality Analyst is responsible for assisting with the preparation of routine product and quality inspections (including packaging), troubleshooting, and reporting. This role is located onsite at our Corporate Office in Boston Heights, OH.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly reporting to provide insight into quality and packaging metrics for the department and vendors
• Create and maintain department analysis and reporting as needed.
• Drive vendor improvements through data, accountability, and leadership.
• Maintain, refine, and/or improve processes within the area to meet customer requirements which include deadlines and quality/package standards.
• Work with, and communicate as needed to the Stores, Concierge, PD, Buying, and Distribution teams on issues that arise and determine the next steps in order to eliminate future issues.
• Issue vendor chargebacks as needed and determine the next steps for current inventory and future production.
• Communicate with internal and external teams to ensure timely and effective problem resolution and go-forward action plan.
• Ensure all product is received based on Arhaus SOPs and address any discrepancies with internal/external parties.
• Reads and understands job aids/work instructions and/or follows oral instructions to execute the overall objectives of reduced quality/packaging returns and improved customer satisfaction component flow requirements.

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as: manufacturing, quality management or a related discipline is preferred
• At least 2 years of quality/packaging/warehouse experience.
• Experience working within QMS systems, ownership of deviation investigations, OOS, CAPAs and Change Controls
• Experience working with domestic and international factories and plus.
• Experience with regulatory and performance, and/or transit testing which includes (but not limited to): CPSC, BFMA, UL, ETL, and GCC.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, specifically in using functions, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Must have strong organizational skills and be able to balance various tasks/projects.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must have a high level of ethics, integrity, judgment, and confidentiality.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms.
• Employee is frequently required to talk and/or hear.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Requires use of computer, telephone, and operation of a motor vehicle.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and work is generally performed in a standard office environment.
• Occasional travel, including overnight travel, may be required.
• Must have reliable, appropriate transportation.
