Job summary

PPG is seeking a Quality Administrative Coordinator in Springdale, PA to support the Quality Department with administrative duties, document control, and cross-functional coordination.

You will manage quality systems (ETQ, LabWare, LIMS), enter data, create purchase orders, and prepare reports using Power BI, Oracle, and Excel to meet internal and customer needs.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 1+ years of professional work experience in an administrative role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
  • Organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle ERP system is preferred.

Job description

As the Quality Administrative Coordinator, you will support the Quality Department by managing administrative responsibilities, coordinating supply chain activities, maintaining compliance systems, and ensuring communication between internal teams and external customers. We ask that you be a proactive professional capable of managing multiple priorities while upholding PPG's mission and values.

You will be based onsite in Springdale, PA and report to the Quality Control Supervisor. PPG offers excellent Medical, Dental, & Vision Benefits; matching 401k + retirement savings; and Paid Vacation, Holiday pay.

Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain quality systems, including ETQ, LabWare, LIMS, and EBS; support document control, CAPA, COA management, audits, recertifications, and employee access.
  • Enter, maintain, and monitor quality, lot, customer, and raw material information to ensure accurate records and compliance with established requirements.
  • Create and manage purchase orders, Kanban orders, lab and office supplies, substrates, calibration materials, and other departmental inventory needs.
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding orders, resolve purchasing issues, track spending, and reconcile purchases and corporate card transactions.
  • Prepare and analyze reports using Power BI, Oracle, and Excel; compile data for quality reports, presentations, and business needs.
  • Support the receipt, sampling, recertification, and disposition of raw materials, working with Purchasing, Receiving, Technical, and Quality teams to resolve issues.
  • Coordinate COAs, customer panels, retain samples, and other documentation while responding to customer and internal requests.
  • Be the administrative liaison between Quality, Purchasing, Customer Service, Technical teams, suppliers, and external customers.
  • Support the Quality Manager and department with special projects, meetings, events, confidential information, and general administrative activities.
