ReDiscover is seeking a Qualified Mental Health Professional to join our Partial Hospitalization Program.

WHO WE ARE

ReDiscover has been a non-profit community mental health center in southeastern Jackson County, Missouri for over 50 years, dedicated to delivering efficient and cost-effective treatment. Our diverse team of over 700 employees is "Passionate About People", supporting our community, especially those affected by mental illness or substance use.

WHAT WE DO

Our Partial Hospital and Intensive Outpatient Program (PHP/IOP) provides acute stabilization through individual and group therapy, utilizing various therapeutic techniques. The program typically lasts 1-3 weeks in an outpatient day treatment setting, focusing on a team-centric approach to help clients achieve stability.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Managing a caseload of 7-10 clients with diverse backgrounds.
  • Evaluating clients’ mental health through assessments, evaluations, and diagnostics.
  • Gathering information via interviews, observations, and tests; maintaining treatment records.
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
  • Counseling clients individually and in groups, maintaining confidentiality.
  • Documenting interactions and maintaining electronic medical records.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care.

Requirements include:

  • Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a social science field.
  • Provisional License (LMSW, PLPC, or MFT) in Missouri.
  • Availability to work Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.
  • Knowledge of mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and G-Suite.
