Silver Birch Living in Evansville is seeking a compassionate and dependable Qualified Medication Assistant (QMA) to join our Clinical Team. You will support residents’ health, safety, and daily care by assisting with medications and personal care, while ensuring they feel cared for, respected, and supported every day.

As a QMA, you’ll collaborate with our Wellness team, document care in the electronic health record, and respond promptly to resident calls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior healthcare or senior living experience helpful.
• Current QMA certification in good standing required.
• Insulin certification preferred, or willingness to obtain.
• Must maintain required trainings and certifications.
• Compassionate, resident-centered approach to care.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and attention to detail.
• Comfort using electronic documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily care needs, including ADLs, following individualized care plans.
• Administer, monitor, and document medications and treatments as directed, within your scope of practice.
• Observe residents and report changes in condition to the Wellness Nurse and clinical team.
• Document care and services accurately in the electronic health record.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident requests.
• Provide friendly, respectful customer service to residents, families, and team members.
• Work closely with the Wellness team to support overall clinical operations and resident needs.
