Silver Birch Living in Muncie, IN seeks a compassionate Qualified Medication Assistant (QMA) to support residents' health, safety and daily care by assisting with medications and ADLs.

You will document treatments, report changes to the Wellness Nurse, and collaborate with the care team to ensure consistent, respectful service. This role emphasizes resident-centered care, teamwork, and reliability within a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• QMA certification in good standing required.
• Insulin certification preferred, or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to maintain required training and certifications.
• Compassionate, resident-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily care needs (ADLs) following care plans.
• Administer, monitor, and document medications and treatments per scope of practice.
• Observe residents and report changes to Wellness Nurse and clinical team.
• Document care and services in electronic health records accurately.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident requests.
• Provide friendly, respectful customer service to residents, families, and team members.
• Collaborate with Wellness team to support clinical operations and resident needs.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assist residents with daily care needs, including Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), following individualized care plans
• Administer, monitor, and document medications and treatments as directed, within your scope of practice
• Observe residents and report changes in condition to the Wellness Nurse and clinical team
• Document care and services accurately in the electronic health record
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident requests
• Provide friendly, respectful customer service to residents, families, and team members
• Work closely with the Wellness team to support overall clinical operations and resident needs

What We’re Looking For

• A high school diploma or GED
• Prior healthcare or senior living experience is helpful
• A current QMA certification in good standing
• Insulin certification preferred, or willingness to obtain
• Ability to maintain required training and certifications
• A compassionate, resident-centered approach to care
• Strong communication, teamwork, and attention to detail
• Comfort using electronic documentation systems
