Silver Birch Living in Evansville is seeking a compassionate and dependable Qualified Medication Assistant (QMA) to join our Clinical Team. You’ll support residents’ health, safety, and daily care needs by assisting with medications and personal care.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED.
• Current QMA certification in good standing.
• Insulin certification preferred, or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to maintain required training and certifications.
• Compassionate, resident-centered approach to care.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and attention to detail.
• Comfort using electronic documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily care needs (ADLs) per care plans.
• Administer, monitor, and document medications and treatments within scope.
• Observe residents and report changes to Wellness Nurse and clinical team.
• Document care and services accurately in the electronic health record.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident requests.
• Provide friendly, respectful customer service to residents, families, and team.
• Work closely with Wellness team to support clinical operations and resident needs.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assist residents with daily care needs, including Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), following individualized care plans
• Administer, monitor, and document medications and treatments as directed, within your scope of practice
• Observe residents and report changes in condition to the Wellness Nurse and clinical team
• Document care and services accurately in the electronic health record
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident requests
• Provide friendly, respectful customer service to residents, families, and team members
• Work closely with the Wellness team to support overall clinical operations and resident needs

What We’re Looking For

• A high school diploma or GED
• Prior healthcare or senior living experience is helpful
• A current QMA certification in good standing
• Insulin certification preferred, or willingness to obtain
• Ability to maintain required training and certifications
• A compassionate, resident-centered approach to care
• Strong communication, teamwork, and attention to detail
• Comfort using electronic documentation systems
