Silver Birch Living in Terre Haute is seeking a compassionate Qualified Medication Assistant (QMA) to join our Clinical Team. You will assist residents with medications and daily care, helping ensure their health, safety, and comfort.

This role emphasizes teamwork, accurate documentation in the electronic health record, and friendly, respectful service to residents and families. Prior healthcare or senior living experience is helpful, and insulin certification may be preferred.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current QMA certification in good standing.
• Insulin certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Comfort using electronic documentation systems.
• Compassionate, resident-centered approach to care.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and attention to detail.
• Prior healthcare or senior living experience is helpful.

• Assist residents with daily care needs, including ADLs, following individualized care plans.
• Administer, monitor, and document medications and treatments as directed, within your scope of practice.
• Observe residents and report changes in condition to the Wellness Nurse and clinical team.
• Document care and services accurately in the electronic health record.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident requests.
• Provide friendly, respectful customer service to residents, families, and team members.
• Work closely with the Wellness team to support overall clinical operations and resident needs.

What You’ll Be Doing

What We’re Looking For

• A high school diploma or GED
• Prior healthcare or senior living experience is helpful
• A current QMA certification in good standing
• Insulin certification preferred, or willingness to obtain
