North Pointe Assisted Living, a Sonida Senior Living community in Anderson, SC, is seeking a licensed Medication Aide to support resident care. You will administer medications, assist with daily living activities, and monitor residents under physician orders.

The role may involve supervising CNAs and ensuring safety in a memory care and assisted living setting. Qualifications include current SC Medication Aide licensure.

Qualifications

• Licensed in the state as a Medication Aide with current licensure.

Responsibilities

• Set up and administer resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards.
• May supervise CNAs as directed.
• Provide personal hygiene assistance (baths, showers, transfers) and support activities of daily living.
• Check vital signs and weight, monitor urine, and record intake/output.

**Eligibility based on location

• You will be responsible for setting up and administering resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards of medication administration, and may supervise CNAs as directed
• Provides patients' personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves; assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths
• Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary; ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals
• Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; testing urine; recording intake and output information

Qualifications:

• Must be licensed in the state as a Medication Aide and maintain current, active, and unencumbered licensure.
