Warsaw Meadows Care Center is a premier skilled nursing facility dedicated to providing exceptional care to our residents. We are seeking a compassionate Qualified Medication Aide (QMA)to join our team and play a vital role in delivering top-tier healthcare services.
Shifts Available:
PRN
As a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA), you will:
Verify the identity of patients receiving medication and accurately record the drug name, dosage, and administration time.
Administer prescribed medications, observe ingestion or application, and ensure proper documentation.
Monitor patient responses to medications, take vital signs, and report unexpected reactions to designated personnel.
Document reasons for any missed medication doses.
Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and assisting during examinations or treatments.
Manage medication supplies by receiving, mixing, and assembling drugs for patient administration.
Record and restock medication inventories as needed.
Work the floor as needed
Successful completion of a state-approvedCertified Nurse Assistant (CNA)program.
Completion ofQualified Medication Aide (QMA)designation requirements.
